Thank you for taking the time to read the 3rd issue of our Newsletter. Apologies for the period between

Newsletter issues but due to issues with utility disconnections (Covid – 19 related) there has been limited activity for the first part of August. The good news is that all service disconnections have now been complete and we can now continue with the demolition of the buildings which, as you will have seen have started to progress over the last couple of weeks. Works completed during this time are:

• Existing Service Disconnections completed
• Demolition Works continuation
• Internal Soft Strip Works completed
• Site Investigation works to enable us to finalise the design of the foundations for the building.
• Design Progression for the Superstructure Works
• Erection of security Fencing around the perimeter of the site

Upcoming Works

• The Continuation and completion of the Demolition Works
• Commencement of reduced level dig and installation of Pilling Matt
• Pilling Commencement.
• Closure Of Grahams Road – From the 14th September Graham Road will be closed from the junction of Hartfield Road to the rear of the construction site. Due to the short notice provided by UK Power Networks (Electrical Disconnections) and then getting the road closure approved we have been unable to provide you as much notice as we would have ideally liked, nevertheless we are following Merton Councils procedures for the road closure and have all necessary approvals in place. I have attached the Traffic management Plan that shows the diversion routes etc… We understand this may cause disruption to some but a full road closure is required to ensure the safety of pedestrians and other road users.
• Install of Welfare Facilities for site—These will be based on Graham Road.
